How I Call CQ On CW Mode (Video)
This is how i make a CQ call on CW mode. My preferable speed is between 26 to 28 words per minutes. Not too fast and not too slow. But sometimes i need to slow down when the band condition is bad so other contacted station can hear all of my transmission signals. I use "not so good" as other expensive keyer, it cant go fast neither. The springs need to be adjust regularly. For a good hearing experience, i use a cheap headphones connected to the Yaesu FT-857D transceiver. Antenna was home made G5RV junior sized. I can catch Russia, America, Ukraine, Italy easily when the propagation is good. I'm not a good CW operator yet, still in learning process. See you on the band !
